Takiya Cenci, a USC-bound senior at Clovis North, posted the fastest qualifying time in the 400 meters at 53.72 seconds, and also helped the Broncos advance in the 4x400-meter relay by winning their heat in 3:49.63 at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Cenci also took second in her 200-meter qualifying race in a wind-aided 24.01.
