Miliana Perez and Gianna Bomarito, both seniors at Clovis North High in California, finished eighth and ninth in the girls varsity race at the Tri-River Athletic Conference final at Woodward Park in Fresno. Perez covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:24.86 and Bomarito ran 18:29.29 for Clovis North, which placed second to Buchanan by a 17-47 margin.
